The SRM61-40.5 series switch is a fully sealed system. Its main circuit switch body and various live parts are enclosed in a stainless steel housing filled with pressurized SF6 gas. The entire switchgear is unaffected by the external environment, ensuring reliable operation and personal safety, and achieving maintenance-free operation.
The SRM61-40.5 series switch includes load switch units (C), circuit breaker units (V), etc. Different modules can be combined in various ways by selecting expandable busbars or common boxes, achieving full modularity. The expansion busbar is fully insulated and shielded, ensuring high reliability and safety. The rich module combinations meet the needs of both network nodes and end users, and also meet the needs of various secondary substations for flexible use of compact switchgear.
SF6 gas-insulated ring main unit switchgear is a switching device used in distribution systems to perform control, protection, measurement, monitoring, and communication functions. Due to its small size, maintenance-free operation, and the fact that the main circuit is unaffected by the external environment, this type of switchgear is particularly suitable for applications with high reliability requirements and relatively harsh natural environments and conditions, such as underground, plateau, and coastal areas. It is widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, wind power generation, and photovoltaic power generation.

Technical Advantages
1. Fully Insulated and Sealed Design: The primary live parts (main busbar) and switch body of the SRM61 series switchgear are sealed in an air tank welded from stainless steel plates. The main circuit is connected to the outside through bushings installed on the air tank that conform to DIN47636 standards. It can be connected to incoming and outgoing cables via fully insulated and shielded separable connectors. The air tank has an IP67 protection rating. The interior of the air tank is unaffected by the external environment and has short-term flood and dew condensation resistance.
2. Flexible and Expandable Design: SRM61 series switchgear can be combined into fixed ring main unit switchgear with a common box that is not expandable using various standard unit modules (up to 6 units in a common box within the same SF6 insulated air tank). Different modules can also be combined into expandable units, and multiple forms can be achieved through dedicated fully insulated and shielded busbar connectors, achieving full modularity. This maximizes the ability to meet the needs of different regions, forms, and customers, providing diverse power supply and distribution design schemes.
3. High Safety and Reliability: The primary live parts and switch body are sealed in a stainless steel air tank and connected to the outside via bushings, avoiding direct contact with live parts; the equipment has reliable pressure relief devices and pressure relief channels to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment in the event of a fault.
4. High Mechanical Reliability: It features a spring operating mechanism developed and manufactured in-house. Quality control of the mechanism is implemented throughout the entire process, from design, production, to running-in and debugging, ensuring the reliability and stability of the mechanism. A complete mechanical interlocking device is included to prevent misoperation to the greatest extent possible. This provides a high-quality operating mechanism solution for SRM61 series switchgear and similar SF6 gas-filled switchgear.
